In this paper we apply a blind source separation (BSS) method to the problem of blind equalization (BE) of single- input -multiple- output (SIMO) channels . T he BSS- based BE method is not sensitive to the channel length overestimation and allows us to select the best equalizer delay with which the noise effect is minimized because it estimates unstructur ed filter matrix . For this , we employ the Sequential Least Square with Projection (SLSP) algorithm [6] that was originally developed for blind co- channel signal separ ation. Numerical experiments confirm the high performance of proposed method. |
